SUMMARY:ONLINE Asbestos Building Inspector Refresher
DESCRIPTION:This 4-hour ONLINE course is designed for persons who will engage in investigations related to locating asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). \nThe course topics include background information on asbestos\, potential health effects related to asbestos exposure\, functions\, qualifications and the role of inspectors\, legal liabilities of building inspectors\, understanding building systems\, public/employee/building occupant relations\, pre-planning activities\, inspection and sampling techniques\, assessing condition and applicable asbestos regulations.  This course meets the EPA AHERA and ASHARA requirements for an Asbestos Building Inspector. \nPlease be accurate during registration on whether you are seeking Michigan Only or Michigan/Indiana/EPA certification (MI/IN/EPA may be required if you are seeking reciprocity for another state or if you are working for a federal government client).  Due to state notification requirements\, we may be unable to allow changes on the day of a course.  If you have questions or concerns\, please feel free to email us at training@perform-env.com or call 248.926.3800. \nIf you are registering for another person\, be sure to forward the course event “TICKET” to the student since it has the Zoom login information. \nPlease note that Performance will charge a $25 cancellation fee.
