For the past four years, Performance Environmental Services, Inc. has worked with Skanska USA Design Build Inc. and the State of Michigan Department of Management and Budget in their goal to eliminate dangerous residential, commercial and industrial sites throughout the City of Detroit, Highland Park and Hamtramck. Performance's role as the primary environmental consultant is to identify potentially hazardous materials prior to demolition of the properties, and to effectively remediate any problems that may exist.
- Provided inspections, reports and project oversight during the environmental remediation and demolition of over 300 residential, commercial and industrial properties
- Ensured compliance with applicable state and federal regulations during the abatement, demolition and removal of building debris
- Provided overall project management and scheduling responsibility for phases from environmental remediation to demolition
