Performance Environmental Services, Inc. was founded with the idea that teamwork and expertise are equally important in serving clients with excellence. Our team includes engineers, field staff scientists and technicians, who together hold masters' and bachelors' degrees in various environmental and engineering disciplines, as well as a variety of certifications and coursework. Every member of Performance's team has hands-on field experience and knowledge in the applicable regulations that govern the variety of projects Performance undertakes. Performance's employees are certified and accredited by the appropriate agencies and receive regular refresher training.
David Varcoe is the President and CEO of Performance Environmental Services, Inc. He is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering, Structural/Environmental studies, and is also licensed as a master plumber in the State of Michigan. Mr. Varcoe has been working in the environmental consulting field since 1987. He heads Performance's Industrial Hygiene Services and has experience managing complex programs for large industrial corporations nationwide.
Dennis Wood is the Vice President of Performance Environmental Services, Inc.
He serves as the Senior Project Manager in charge of Performance's Asbestos and Lead Consulting Services and is also responsible for the company's sales and marketing.
Mr. Wood has a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health Administration from Grand Valley State University. He has managed and implemented asbestos and lead management programs for commercial and industrial clients including Visteon Corporation and William Beaumont Hospital. Mr. Wood's extensive knowledge of and experience with state and federal regulations have provided him with the skills necessary to develop cost–effective ways to reduce clients' environmental risks.
Jeffrey Gross is the Director of Operations at Performance Environmental Services, Inc. He is the Senior Project Scientist and is responsible for the daily operations at Performance. He has worked in the environmental consulting field since 1988 and is
an expert in state and federal regulations. His extensive knowledge ensures that Performance continues to meet regulation requirements and exceeds all client expectations.
